"I found Colina Dental to be one of the most positive experiences in my life. Not only have they given me back my teeth, my smile, reduced the "hag" lines caused by missing molars, but they have done this at a cost that in the US would have been somewhere between $150,000- 250,000.  We have paid out of pocket such a reasonable sum to Colina Dental. Their work has been far less than 1/5 of what US dentists charge for any procedure and their equipment, materials, artistry, and compassion cannot be overstated. They have state of the art equipment using materials that few could even consider in the US. My prosthetics are zirconium, the hardest metal and rarely available to us in the USA. Certainly, beyond most financial capabilities.


I have never had more compassionate caregivers anywhere, in fact I have not experienced this level of concern anywhere in American medicine. The clinic takes care of my emotions as well as my teeth. I have returned by myself for small procedures and the clinic has arranged my transportation and helped with booking hotels, even going to the Pharmacia themselves for prescriptions to send me to my room with for the night.


I cannot recommend these people anymore highly. They have cared for me for over a year now, and I wouldn't think of letting anyone stateside touch me. I return for cleanings and anything that needs to be done. Actually flying there roundtrip, staying a night or two in a 5 star hotel and the price of cleaning or small procedures is cheaper than driving cross town in the US and having the teeth cleaned.


But it is not really about the cost alone, Colina Dental has become family, caring for me and about me long term. For them, it is not about the money, it is about making someone's life better, giving them back their confidence, and ability to eat comfortably. They have improved my health as I had a number of abscesses due to the dentist who had neglected my care and I was actually having heart rhythm issues. That has been corrected.


I would recommend any of the specialists and professionals at Colina Dental. I have been the patient of many of them throughout this process. It took about 9 months to complete the entire mouth and I have just returned from my first cleaning. All is good and as it should be. I expect to leave this earth with the dental work. Something I could never say about any work I have had done in the US."

We recommend all to combine a dental trip and a vacation to your beautiful country of Costa Rica, with mountains, rain forests, beaches, birds and flowers. The cost savings on dental work may even pay for the vacation. The cost of food, lodging, auto rental and taxis are very affordable. American Airlines has a non stop flight from Miami Airport and Delta Airlines has one from Atlanta.

Because of the obscene high fees for American dental work, more and more Americans are going to foreign countries. The two main concerns we have are the language barrier and the quality of dental services. At your clinic there are no language problems since most of your staff speaks English. As far as quality of dental service, you have a staff of specialists in all fields of dentistry, state of the art equipment, and even your own dental lab (very rare in America). I felt I was treated more like a friend than a patient and was surprised at the minimum amount of pain. After my 12 implant posts were installed with no pain, I went out for dinner the same evening.

Your procedure for an appointment is very professional, business like and simple. The patient sends you a full mouth x-ray, discusses major concerns, and receives a fee proposal with a list of costs for each procedure. All of this is done by phone, fax and email.
